When I met Kendra last August during one of my busiest weeks and she accepted my messy bun and work clothes, I knew she was my kind of bride. Laid back, trusting, and fun. The type of bride that says "You're the expert! I trust you" we exchanged texts and Instagram messages over the next few months and suddenly February 24th was here! I had so much fun designing for Kendra + Tyler's winter wedding. It was clean and classic, with just enough of the wild PNW mixed in.
When I got Kendra & Tyler's album this week, my eyes filled with tears looking through their photos. You can see the love they share and how much fun they have together. SO MANY SMILES! I don't think I have ever seen a bride glow as much as you Kendra. Thank you for allowing me to work with you both. I wish you guys many years of happiness!
A special thank you to Kendra's Mom Ellen, for being such a great MOB! :)

Another amazing couple, adorable pups and some fun greenery ideas (as seen in Seattle Bride Magazine). Jordyn & Jeff were down to earth, funny as hell, and so in love. They also happened to be science enthusiasts, so we incorporated beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, dinosaurs and other gizmos & gadgets in to their decor. SO FUN! To date it is one of my favorite designs, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to work with them.
Thanks you Jordyn & Jeff!

Ponderosa & Thyme Workshop
Date: November 17, 2017
Location: Tendue, Portland, OR
Workshop Host: Katie Davis, Ponderosa & Thyme
Photographer: MacCoy Dean
Workshop Team: Mark Davis & Sarah Pearson
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Back in November, I was sitting in my van anxiously awaiting set up for a big event, and on a whim, I decided to register for The Ponderosa & Thyme Bouquet Workshop. I am here to tell you that I am so happy I trusted my gut, and so grateful that I made a spontaneous decision to go.
IT WAS WONDERFUL. MAGICAL. INSPIRING. All of the good things, truly!
I walked in to the beautiful Tendue space, and I was greeted by smiling faces and beautiful blooms. I immediately felt at home.
Katie is an angel. She is the sweetest, most down to earth person I have ever met. She kicked off her shoes, invited us to eat, drink coffee, sip tea, and reflect together.
We went through a flower meditation, foraging adventure, ate delicious meals and had the most wonderful GLUTEN FREE | VEGAN DONUTS from Katie's husband Mark of BigWig Donuts.
Katie's workshop staff included; Sarah Pearson, her husband Mark Davis, and photographer MacCoy Dean. Everyone was kind, supportive, and had their own inspiring stories to share.
Thank you for everything Katie, Mark, Sarah, and MacCoy. And thank you Antje, Robyn, Lindsay, and Emily for being yourselves, I feel lucky to have flower friends like you.

Chauanh + Gabriel
Date: August 12, 2017
Coordinator: Luma & Lavender
Photographer: Luma Weddings
Venue: Private Residence, Whidbey Island
Florals: Rusted Vase Floral Co.
Chauanh and Gabriel were married at a beautiful family home on Whidbey Island. The sun was shining and a light breeze rolled through the property, the perfect wedding weather! Family and bridal party members were bustling around, vendor teams were prepping food, folding napkins, and taking photos. It was laid back and intimate, one of my favorite wedding set ups! (Not to mention one of my favorite couples.)
I first met Chauanh & Gabriel at a coffee shop in Capitol Hill, they were silly, sweet, and so happy to be planning their wedding together. Their vision for florals was simple and lush, with a touch of the PNW beach. Gabriel's Dad built a custom driftwood arch for the ceremony that I wish I could have taken home with me, it was stunning! They fused together Vietnamese traditions with their romantic ceremony and reception, and everything went together beautifully!
One of the best details of the day was perhaps Chauanah's three dresses! One red, one white, one pink. Each representing a significant part of their cultures and commitment to one another.
Working alongside Haley & Kyle Goldie of Luma Weddings/Luma & Lavender is always fun and the images from Kyle are stunning! Take a peek below....!
Thanks Chauanh & Gabriel!

When I think back on the 2017 wedding season and all of the great couples and vendors I worked with, there are a few that stand out in particular. Lizzie & Carlo's wedding day is one of those special ones. They were sweet, down to earth, and gave me that "creative freedom" that we all crave. Lizzie knew what she wanted, and she trusted me to bring her vision to life. A warm and inviting wedding with modern and minimalistic style. A truly wonderful team was put together for this day, and I could not be more excited to share the STUNNING photos from The Popes! Thank you Lizzie and Carlo.

A day filled with laughter, group hugs at the altar, and SO many smiles. Erica & Eli's Sodo Park wedding was so lovely and elegant. Holly of Perfectly Posh events helped to curate a wonderful vendor team, and La Vie Photo truly captured all of the best moments and details. In my first meeting with Erica and her Mom, they both told me how much they loved big, full blooms. Luckily, late August in Seattle is PRIME dahlia season. We filled their centerpieces full to the brim with beautiful local product, accented with gold votives, bud vases, and hurricane candle. It really was a beautiful wedding. Thank you Erica & Eli, it was truly a pleasure to work with you! Xox

Nestled in to the Snohomish Valley sits one of my favorite rustic venues, Lord Hill Farms. The location is picturesque for those seeking an upscale yet rustic wedding venue. I worked with Danae of Perfectly Posh Events to help bring Mo and Nate's wedding vision to life. Their late Summer theme and color palette was to DIE for. I had so much fun creating and designing for their wedding day. Mo and Nate gave me tons of creative freedom and it made for a truly special day. Thank you! Thank you Sasha Reiko for these beautiful photos too! Take a peek.....!
